Your care options

Chiropractic care

A conversation about how you move, what hurts and what matters to you is the starting point for chiropractic care. Farshad Berjis Chiropractic offers assessment and care for neck, back and joint concerns.

An individual starting point

Bring your questions and describe the activities affected by your symptoms. Share previous injuries, medical conditions, medications and care you have already tried. These details help inform whether chiropractic treatment, another approach or further medical evaluation may be appropriate.

Techniques used in the practice

The practice lists Diversified, Thompson’s, Activator and Flexion Distraction. These names describe different approaches; they do not determine which treatment you need. Ask the clinician to explain the proposed technique, alternatives and the reason for choosing it for you.

Make an informed decision

Research suggests spinal manipulation may help some people with lower back pain. Benefits vary, and treatment has risks. Temporary soreness can occur; rare serious complications have been reported, including with neck manipulation. Discuss your health history and the potential benefits and risks before deciding.

Agree on a way to review progress

Ask what changes you should watch for, when your symptoms will be reassessed and what the plan would be if you are not improving. A useful conversation includes daily function, your goals and the cost of care, without assuming a fixed number of visits.
